At one university (though it could also be used in another context) there are potentially multiple mensas, multiple not-overlapping groups of people. And there is at least one user group (Linus) at another university already interested. Should they be using the same, global instance, or be required to setup their own?

(Heck, one mensa might technically be shared between multiple universities/schools/companies)

Which constellations should be supported in a single instance? For the sake of simplicity, we should start off by not supporting everything for now. Should one instance focus on:

  • One university
  • One mensa
  • One group of people

In one instance, the user has access to all registered mensas and can mark them as "interested". The user can also follow (a group of) friends. The overlap between friends and mensas is relevant for matching.

There is no concept of "university".
