At some later point, SMS notifications should probably be implemented. At a small scale, this is fairly cheap with roughly 10ct per SMS. At a higher scale, we should probably only allow paying users to enable this feature.

Apple announced to not remove support for progressive web apps. In that case, PWA might be a better choice for smartphone integration, compared to SMS.
